I found a solution:
In My LO the language was german and the region was Germany. However the page
format was US-Letter.
I changed the language and the region to USA. Restart
Now I changed the region and language to Germany (Austria). 2nd restart.
And now the standard page format is A4.
Simple solution, but I should not have to do it.
