            Status: UNCONFIRMED

If you look at my highlighted text, you will see that according to my taskbar,
it is both Bolded and Italicized. However, it is only italicized and not
bolded.

Problem description: When I select a long piece of text (or sometimes with only
a few words)

Steps to reproduce: [cannot guarantee it will always be reproducible -->
Boldface works well on normal, short documents)
1. ....(this works fine in a normal document) Have a very long document (around
10,000 words...perhaps do a lot of formatting, using footnotes and copying and
pasting a lot of text from Zotero or outside sources)
2. ....highlight a long passage (many many words)
3. ....hit Ctrl+B.

Expected/actual behavior: I expect to see the typeface change from normal to
bold and back, but nothing changes visually, and I only know it is bolded (by
the indentation of the "B" button in the formatting taskbar). Indeed, I cannot
even change it back to non-bolded, though visually it looks the same. Now I can
get the boldface to appear visually (i.e. thicken the font/typeface) when I
Ctrl+B a few letters at a time, but I expect boldface to work with any length
of selection.

Operating System: Ubuntu
