            Bug ID: 137066
Summary: EDITING: Auto-capitalisation reverses deletion as it
                    capitalises deleted text
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.4.4.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Created attachment 165881

Short sample document

With change tracking turned on and showing, if you edit a sentence to insert a
period, delete the next letter, then type a space, the deleted letter is
capitalised and undeleted.

Expected result: auto-capitalisation should apply to the first not-deleted
letter after the period, or not applied at all if that's too costly. It should
not be applied to deleted text.

See attached document with detailed instructions for reproduction.
