Status line in Draw
Concerning the calculation load: solely the position is recalculated
permanently (this is the mouse position if nothing is selected).
The measure (length and height, and possible perimeter and surface)
calculations need only to be actuated when the dimensions are changed or a
point moved around.
As for the space, with a reasonable window size as in the attachment, I see
plenty of empty space. Enough to add 2 icons and 2 numbers at least.
I agree that could be an add-on but I don't know where / who to ask for this.
