Priority: medium
Bug ID: 59301
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: On Donut circular chart, data labels only show as
number
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: unspecified
Component: Chart
Product: LibreOffice
Created attachment 72936
--> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=72936&action=edit
Test case: Donut chart which will only show data labels as numbers
Donut charts are good for comparing the relative shares of related data series.
In the attachment, I'm comparing the number of posts, comments and pageviews
for all the authors of a blog. I wanted to use data labels to show percentage
values for each slice, so I did 'Insert data labels'.
No matter what options I choose, the label value is always the number. I've
turned 'Show value as number' off; turned on 'Show value as percentage'; turned
on 'Show category'; turned on 'Show legend key'. Every time I get the same
result: it's as if I had everything turned off, except 'Show value as number'.
Note that my options are preserved: if I go back to the data label options, the
options I've selected are still on, in spite of it showing always the value as
number.
