Additional findings: what happened is: the color that is used in the start
center is the color that can be set in LibreOffice > Preferences > LibreOffice
> Application Colors > Application background.
This behavior would still be unexpected as Application color should not alter
Start Center elements as the danger exists, users end up with unreadable start
center elements.
Long term solution: proper support for dark / light theme.
Short term solution: make Start Center, left column not apply Application
background color.
