Can not confirm. For Windows builds, edit focus onto cell a cell with content
<Del> key has different function than <BkSpace> key.
<Del> will clear the content.
<BkSpace> opens the 'Delete Contents' dialog
For OP please post os/DE details and copy the Help -> About LibreOffice dialog.
