The behavior present in my comment 25 is no longer being seen.
I was seeing the behavior of duplicate bug (131455) initially, but
repeating the test several hours later, I could not trigger the bug again.
I do not have any idea as to why the result changed without any intervening
steps.
Sorry if the "false positives" caused any distraction.
