Can not confirm on a Windows build of master / 7.2.0
Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)

CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded
changes to the default paragraph style, or to a character style are isolated
between the two document instances.
And I do see linkage when using the Main menu -> Windows -> New Window, but I
think that is intentional as it is opening additional view into just one
document instance.
