It works fine for the background of a Draw's textbox...
I'm sure the big clue is empty name in content.xml's
<style:drawing-page-properties draw:fill="hatch" draw:fill-hatch-name=""/>
ODF export code is voodoo to me, so I'm fairly lost at even where to start.
