'Mouse pointer as Pen' annotation works as expected on recent master/7.2.0alpha
bulds in both Skia and default GDI rendering. When set in advance of slide
show, the annotations are kept and offered to save. When done with default
settings, and activated by context menu during presentation, the annotations
last for the slide show and are deleted on exit.
So this seems correct--and issue of OP is Linux. Is the KDE connect still an
issue? Otherwise this is a => WFM
