Strace libreoffice
Any attempt to open ods or html files results in immediate crash. Any attempt
to save a new file results in immediate crash (Save dialogue appears, but when
save is invoked, LibreOffice crashes). Existing odt files can be opened,
modified, and saved. Attempts to read xls files attached to emails cause
LibreOffice to crash and restart with recovery. In this circumstance, the
attachment will also open, along with recovered existing files, but invoking
Save as.. causes immediate crash.
As it is, this bug renders LibreOffice essentially unusable.
Strace attached. LibreOffice was opened, recovery script was run, attempt was
made to save a read-only xls file.
