Apparently I had a corrupted system file(s) which coincided with a Firefox
update. Using various Windows check & repair commands of CHKDSK, DISM, sfc
/scannow, one or more damaged files was restored to where the Calc no longer
freezes with Firefox running or being connected by WiFi.
