Bug ID: 139721
Summary: Writer: Bizarre multi-level numbering.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
In numAA.odt, paragraph has style List2, which has numbering style
Numbering_abc, initially at level_1.
0. click AA, demote it step-by-step (toolbar BulletsAndNumbering) to level 2,
3, 4: no visible change.
1. In the style side bar, under ‘Lists’ (Confusing; it should be called
‘numbering styles’), the current style Numbering_abc is highlighted.
Double-click another style, eg, Numbering_ABC, and change back to the original
style Numbering_abc.
2. Repeat step_0: now, it (correctly) moves the string at each level change!
3. Close the file unsaved, reload the original, repeat step_0: at level 5, AA
jumps ahead while its label ‘a:’ stays put. Bizarre.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.see above
2.
3.
Actual Results:
display does not respond to level
Expected Results:
display should respond according to style specs
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
none
