          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 59859
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FORMATTING: Header and Footer and Page number
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.0.0.2 rc
         Component: Writer
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:

There is a bug I think on the header and footer section. When you apply an
image background, sometimes it does not take effect on both the header and
footer. Moreover, when you choose to not display the content of first page to
all other pages, this take effects on both header and footer.

Finally, you cannot insert a specific page number on a start page.

Steps to reproduce:

Too complicated to demonstrate

Current behavior:

Already mentioned in the description

Expected behavior:

For the header and footer content, the user must have a free choice to whether
display the content of the first page either on header or footer but not both
simultaneously. The user must be able to customize both the header and footer
freely. Suppose I write a text on the header for a page, I must have the choice
to write another text on the other page without making it take effect on all
pages.

For the specific page number, the user must be able to insert a specific page
number on the START page.

A suggestion from mine, the header and footer issue will be totally solved and
perfect if you can make it as Microsoft Word 2010.

Operating System: Windows (other)
Version: 4.0.0.2 rc
