I would still suggest to attach a example file which demonstrates the issue.
The dis-alignment isn't unfamiliar to me. Have seen it on macOS for a while.
But so unreliable to reproduce, making it hopeless exercise to attempt a
tracing it back in older versions.
The big question is .. is this a regression?
But maybe kind of system specific/context specific.. So another approach would

As it apparently happens more often in your case...
FWIW: screensize & zoomlevel might be relevant too :P.. But still makes sense
if this is a rounding topic..
