Yes. And I can also reproduce in older debug builds, like one based on 6.0
(it's a vendor branch, so not the same, but for this purpose, should be close
enough).
So, it definitely isn't a recent regression, and we probably don't need to
bother with it since it doesn't occur in release builds, though perhaps knowing
whether it's intentional or not would be good.
