Please try this with 7.0.4 version. Give it a try again and try this: Help -
Restart in Safe Mode and after that ckeck factory setting. and everything could
be much better.
I am using 7.0.4 on Linux, Windows and it is not very slow, but I did that. I
restart in Safe mode and checked that 2 options from factory reset.
No problem and slow online or windows. Even with 4GB RAM and HDD.
