Unfortunately, the solution works in the Finder to disable the setting option
“Show all filename suffixes” for me with the following configuration NOT!
macOS Big Sur Version 11.2
LibreOffice_7.1.0_macos_x86-64
libreOffice_7.1.0_macos_x86-64_langpack_en
After uninstalling the LO above, I installed the previous version 7.0.4 again
and was able to add the de-langpack 7.0.4 again (without removing the hook in
the Finder setting).
On two older MBP (one from Mid 2012, the other at the end of 2014) the same
result: 7.1.0 langpack installation no, 7.0.4 langpack installation without any
problems yes!
