We discussed this in the design meeting. It sounds like a lot of effort for a
limited number of users. Some open questions remain:
+ what happens at document end? activate the direct cursor mode?
+ what on jump via Navigator
+ what if the position is occupied by an object?
LibreOffice is just not a text editor but an office suite. Perhaps the special
solution is better done per extension. Feel free to reopen the request.
