Updated to 11.2 "BigSur" - and 7.1/7.1.1 works like a charm.
But then: Unable even to start older versions
(to test you have to rename "user" -folder in ~/Library/Application
Support/LibreOffce/4/ or it quits with some error on java version at start.)
6.2. at start brings up a Dialog window ""LibrOffice can not be opened because
Apple cannot look inside the app to search for malicious software" and
recommends to update. OK quits the app.
6.3. dies silently; started at command line, it just says "Application Error"
and quits.
