Confirmed based on bug 139651 comment 6. The first version where the text is
shown within the shapes was 4.0.0.3, and it was already wrongly spaced.

Only the text spacing is wrong, because in the original document tabulation was
used to position the pieces of text within the text box, and this isn't handled
properly in Writer."
