It definitely will not be changed again. (Highlight was the default from 5.0 -
6.4.) Using Highlight always changes the colour that the LO user set (since it
is limited to 16 colours), and that also causes a lot of concerns.
Since the shading tool is not so hard to find in Word any more, the benefits of
defaulting to highlight are now fairly slim.
P.S. For those who do decide to export to highlight, there are a lot of fixes
for that situation coming in LO 7.2.
