Can we please put an end to this ridiculous nonsense. There is no justification
for this project to join in the bastardization (https://tinyurl.com/yzequ3n2)
of the English language. Why do we feel it is critical to make this kind of
change, just because someone comes along with some fanciful idea about a word
being in some way politically incorrect. Now we will waste time and energy on a
pointless debate about inventing an inappropriate, non-nonsensical alternative.
If this is approved, we must very seriously consider changing other terms the
project uses, like black, brown, red, white, in case there might be someone,
somewhere on the planet who finds these terms to be potentially offensive.
