--- Comment #96 from Nerd Bert <[email protected]> ---
All that what I saw on this page didn´t work for me (Catalina, LibreOffice
7.1.2.2 and de-Languagepack)
So I tried a different workaround, that at least works for me. I copied the
language files by hand. Hope it helps you too
Steps, after you installed libreOffice:
- Download Language-Pack of your choice that has exactly the same release as
your libreoffice release
- Open it in Finder (start it, it will mount the volume but don´t do anything
else)
- Now open terminal and create a folder, I named it LP:
- mkdir LP
- cd LP
- Check, what your language is and change (de) in next step to your
language-letter:
- cp -pr /Volumes/LibreOffice\ de\ Language\ Pack/ .
- cd cd LibreOffice\ Language\ Pack.app/Contents/Resources
- tar -xzf tarball.tar.bz2
- cd Contents/Resources
- Now we copy all that stuff to the folder of the LibreOffice-Application. In
my case its located in /Applications/LibreOffice.app:
- cp -pr . /Applications/LibreOffice.app/Contents/Resources
- go to that folder:
- cd /Applications/LibreOffice.app/Contents/Resources
- Now we need to set the rights of the group to right value
- chgrp -R admin .
Start your LibreOffice at enjoy it in your language
Cheers,
Nerd Bert
