You have always been asked, whether you want to save the current file or you
want to dismiss (Don't save) the current file on clicking application's top X.
And that's how I'd expect all programs to work. Just checked the behavio on
OpenOffice 4.1.9, LibreOffice 5.4.7, 6.2.8, 6.3.6, 6.4.7, 7.0.5 and 7.1.2 and
all behave the same way.  Could you please explain, what's new now or elaborate
your use case in more detail?
