--- Comment #5 from [email protected] --- [Bug 60101] LibreOffice Base Crashed (stopped working) when naming a new database; error attached The following is my recovery process from this error: 1-Completely removed LibreOffice including 'help' app 2-Cleaned Windows7 Registry of all LibreOffice reference (found previous OpenOffice files; removed) 3-Preformed Antivirus and Malware scans – no infection; Defrag'd HD. 4-Checked 'Java' apps – 2 had not uninstalled correctly (Java 6 Update 22, v.6.0.220 and Java FX v.2.1.1) removed them; Java 7 Update 13 v.7.0.130 is only Java now installed. 4-Performed an clean install of LibreOffice, Version 3.6.5.2 (Build ID: 5b93205) and help files. 5-Performed Base 'Open' on existing database several times – results correct. 5-Performed Base 'Create new database' several times – results correct. 6-Performed Base 'Open' on the databases created in step 5 several times – results correct. MY CONCLUSION: Java 6 Update 22 and Java FX v.2.1.1 were conflicting with Java 7 Update 13 v.7.0.130 preventing LibreOffice Base from properly working. In my opinion Bug 60101 is a candidate for closure. Jim Johnson [email protected] -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
