Sounds like information that may be very helpful:
a) As a way to circumvent the issue for the individual aware that this bug
exists.
b) For narrowing down the bug in the code.

It does not stop this from being a bug of importance (IMHO), and I am among
those who still hope it will be fixed one day and who will be thankful when it
happens.
