Bug ID: 141917
Summary: Unwanted spaces added between footnote number (at
bottom of page) and text of footnote
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.0.7.3 release
Hardware: All
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
In many of my Writer files, unwanted spaces are added between the footnote
number at the bottom of the page and the text of that footnote, for example,
24 This footnote concerns.....
Every time I return to the file, I find that the number of spaces has increased
(for example, after the number there may be two or three completely blank lines
before the first word of the text of the footnote).
I wonder if the problem has to do with the fact that when creating a footnote I
add one blank space between the number and the text of the footnote because I
have found that if I do not add a space, when I print the file, I find that the
first character of the text of the footnote is flush with the number.
Actual Results:
1. Create a footnote
2. Leave one blank space after the footnote number at bottom of page.
3. Type the text of the footnote
4. Retrieve the file periodically and each time the number of blank spaces will
have grown.
Expected Results:
Number of spaces keeps on growing.
Reproducible: Always
