Priority: medium
Bug ID: 60409
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Event triggered incorrectly on BASE listbox
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 3.6.4.3 release
Component: UI
Product: LibreOffice
I have a listbox in a control in a grid on a form in BASE.
I assigned a Basic macro to the event for 'Mouse moved while key pressed'.
This triggers correctly, but it also triggers if you use the mouse to scroll
the sidebar up and down, even when no key is pressed. This is surely
incorrect.
To explain briefly what I am trying to do, I want to open a form containing
details of the data in the listbox, and this event is a neat, tidy and
user-friendly way to do it, provided it works reliably and doesn't trigger when
I don't want it to.
I tried checking for a mouse double-click instead but could get that to work
reliably.
I don't want to use a separate button to open the form, not least because on
some forms I have several listboxes in the grid and don't want to have loads of
buttons arrayed above the grid.
For now I will stick with it and try to remember not to use the sidebar. In
fact, if there was an option not to have a sidebar but just a mouse scroll
(which I have turned on) I'd be happy with that.
