Yes that is understood, and as noted comment 22 shift to fixed minimum width
per deck was by design and actually made the erratic behavior consistent.
Likewise per comment 40, bug 140360 is an enhancement to toggle prior behavior
allowing deck to "reduce width to collapse", but consistently for all decks and
LO modes.
Issue here remains WONTFIX
