I tested 7.1.2 and indeed, this issue seems to be fixed.
This is a great news!
However, there are other issues which are still present with 4k displays, like
the blurry toolbars with svg icons (#128998), or the blurry slide sorter in
Impress (#122535).
I hope these other issues will also be fixed.
