After reading Comment 1, the option "Adjust to contour" should be made
unavailable for Text Attributes for connector lines.
Suggest this option for Text Attributes is renamed to "Follow the contour" so
that it follows the contour of a connector line or any other freeform line that
can be drawn in LO Draw.
