Description:
The Writer’s Navigator window wastes some horizontal space
(http://www.superstructure.info/LibreOffice/Navigator.png) because of the
“navigatorpanel|spinbutton” thing at the right. The wastage is annoying in the
docked mode, especially when only Navigator is docked.
Fix for
libreoffice/share/config/soffice.cfg/modules/swriter/ui/navigatorpanel.ui is
proposed at http://www.superstructure.info/LibreOffice/navigatorpanel.ui – it
puts <object… id="content4">(navigatorpanel|spinbutton) into a new row.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open the Navigator window (with F5 or View→Navigator) in a document containing
headings.
Actual Results:
http://www.superstructure.info/LibreOffice/Navigator.png (420 pixels including
the left margin).
Expected Results:
294 pixels wide (including the left margin) with my tweak, as explained above.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No

Not necessarily for inclusion to the main software branch. Just to document my
do-it-yourself tweak.
