With regret, I was unable to reproduce the crash. I uninstalled Creative Cloud,
opened a Writer document, re-installed CC. Writer did not crash. Perhaps I
should have restarted machine between uninstall and re-install. Sorry for
trouble. At the time of the occurrence it only seemed to take the originally
documented two steps to produce.
