Bug ID: 142217
Summary: With a shape selected, sometimes attempting to "edit a
property" in the properties window causes the shape
behind the property window to be selected.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.4.7.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Draw
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: maartentenvel...@hotmail.com
Description:
What happened?
With e.g. a line shape selected, if trying to change e.g. the fill color of
that line, the cursor remains a "grab hand" when moving over the "color
selection box". If pressing the "color selection box", the element behind the
"properties window" is selected and the properties window changes to the
properties window for the newly selected element.
NOTE: I am using a non-english version of LibreOffice, so I am not sure if all
translates well here.
What I expect to happen..
if hovering over the properties window, "collision" with shapes is not
possible.
NOTE: I am not sure if OpenGL is enabled, but under "Extra -> Opties... ->
LibreOffice -> Beeld" I saw that a checkbox to use hardware acceleration for
displaying images was checked.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create some shapes
2. Zoom in (make sure that one or more shapes are behind the properties window
3. Try to edit a property via the properties window for the selected shape.
Actual Results:
See the description.
Expected Results:
See the description.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: Yes
OpenGL enabled: Yes
Additional Info:
[Information automatically included from LibreOffice]
Locale: nl
Module: DrawingDocument
[Information guessed from browser]
OS: Linux Mint 20.1
OS is 64bit: yes
