Actually, the resize works--but with the longer user provided Gallery theme
name the "minimum" width for the deck increases--the slider only accomodates so
much width.
Related work on bug 140360 for option to turn off Sidebar's minimum width--and
restore the "slide to collapse" behavior of original implementations will help.
Meanwhile, overly long theme names receive this handling, simply avoid them.
