Not sure if I understand yet:
1. Open Save as Dialog and select some file to get that as File name
2. mouse click in File name, all text is selected
3. mouse click again in the middle of text where you want to change, text is
deselected
4. select part of text you will replace and type to replace and add other
Maybe you dislike step 2. but that's how dialog works, same in Firefox.
Please clarify.
