Heiko, after a careful re-reading of bug 88938, I have to conclude that this
cannot be seen as a duplicate of that one. Why? They're about the wrong kind of
copying.

Suppose for the sake of discussion I like all my custom animations to have the
default settings.

Now, how does the resolution of 88938 help me with this issue? If bug 88938 is
resolved, and we copy an object from one slide to another, it still won't have
any animation effects. I will still have to manually recreate the animation
effect. I will have saved no work nor will I have reduced the chances of
getting something wrong.

None of my 4 suggested courses of action regard copying of styles from one
custom animation effect to another.
