Information about extensions stored in
.../uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/lu*.tmp_/ directories is only removed when
the LO extension manager code is activated the next time after those extensions
have been removed (e.g., when starting LO again and choosing "Tools - Extension
Manager...", or when running "unopkg list").  This is by design; see the code
for details why it is done that way.

The bare skeleton of directory hierarchies created as .../uno_packages/ the
first time an extension is installed is never removed again, not even when it
becomes effectively unused when the last extension is removed again.  I would
not see any benefit in changing that.
