            Bug ID: 143418
Summary: FORMCONTROL Date: No possibility to choose "Today" as
                    default date
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Base
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

In a formcontrol for a date you could choose a default date. This date will be
a fixed date. It won't be the date of the day the form has been opened.

If you wish to get this day you have to use some constructions like queries and
forms with sub forms or you have to create it by macro. Also it is possible to
set it in SQL when the data will be saved. But many people want to see the date
before saving and don't know who to create this in the different ways.

It would be more user friendly to choose "Today" for the default date.

This has never been implemented in LO. It would be an enhancement.
