I'm not familiar with mozregression so don't know how it works, but in
LibreOffice the QA people and developers use bibisection (binary bi-section) to
find which code change causes a regression.  More details at:

However unfortunately, available bibisection repositories are English only, and
won't be useful for this particular bug.
