Upon further trial, I can now reproduce the bug. The first time I only used the
keyboard shortcuts ctrl+Z and ctrl+Y to attempt reproduction.
However, I retried this using the actual buttons in the toolbar at the top
(instead of using the keyboard shortcuts, go to "Edit" at the top and select
"Undo" or "Redo") and was able to reproduce the bug.
I then exited the application and tried this again with the keyboard shortcuts
again. Not sure if using the actual buttons first is somehow related to this,
but I am now able to reproduce the bug with keyboard shortcuts as well.
