            Bug ID: 144006
Summary: Shortcut for Formula object insertion
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.1.5.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I want to be able to create/insert Formula objects via shortcut (, since I
mostly deal with Math documents (homework). The current formula shortcut (F2)
is for use inside tables, and not Math formulas.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to "Insert > Object > Formula..." or click on the "sqrt(4)" icon to open
the Formula editor in LO Writer
2. Go to "Tools > Customize... > Keyboard" and search for Formula, none of the
options available are the Formula editor

Actual Results:
The "Formula" shortcut (F2) opens a LO Calc like Formula top panel, which is
for tables, and not the Formula editor.

Expected Results:
There should be a "Insert Formula" option available in shortcuts.

Reproducible: Always
