Hmm.  I wonder if you did have the patience if you would see the same thing?

Regardless, I doubt most folks have this big of a spreadsheet.  I was looking
for a "size" bug based on another behavior I saw a few days ago.  If two of you
can't recreate it after legitimately trying, I'm happy to call it a fluke,
PEBCAK on my end, WORKSFORME, etc.

Possibly.  But that begs /another/ question:  How are we able to put more
columns than fit into the compile time constant of SCCOL?  (Which appears to be
1024, as from sc/inc/address.hxx,  MAXCOLCOUNT_DEFINE.) Especially since it's
not the columns that my above instructions stress, but rows.

(As an aside, I note that neither of you have used the exact same version as I
have installed, Linux LO.x86_64 v4.0.0.3.  If someone can corroborate that at
least I/my machine aren't blowing smoke, that would be good starting point. 
And if they can't, that could be a good stopping point.)
