MSO adds a step before deleting the image via backspace in that it becomes selected. But MSO has no (obvious) anchor options as LibreOffice. In case of As Character, I expect objects to be deleted like any other character. To Character should mark the object on backspace at the very character and deletes then. It does right now nothing else but To Paragraph where the object is deleted as last "character". In case of To Page anchored objects it shouldn't be deleted at all.
