Priority: medium
Bug ID: 61053
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FILESAVE: Enhancement request: Make writer to save the
document with the first words instead of Untitled 1
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 3.6.5.2 release
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
In AskLibO
(http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/2525/save-as-untitled-1/#12334) there
was the request to have Writer saving the document as default with the first
words of the text rather than with "Untitled 1".
Additionally I would like to add that the field for the filename in a footer of
a writer document shows the name of the default filename before the file is
saved.
Currently, the field shows only a dot. and it took me a while to find out that
the dot is replaced by the filename when the file is saved once. It would be
easier to understand the file name field when it shows immediately the
filename (first words of text or untitled 1).
Operating System: Windows XP
Version: 3.6.5.2 release
