I uploaded an ODG file to clarify the issue. On page 1 I show how adding a hyperlink breaks alignment. I also created a PPTX file in PowerPoint (also attached to this report) and took some screenshots (see page 2 of the ODG file). Notice that in PowerPoint adding a hyperlink does not break alignment.
