Never, but previous and latest stable OpenOffice worked fine. b. Isn't a new installation and profile the same? Since I can't run LO, I usually uninstall it and remove its left overs (e.g., profile). Or is this something else? I don't see why I need a parallel installation. Anyways, I reinstalled and ran LO4. It still crashed during its splash screen startup. I deleted my local LO4 profile. I changed my C:\Program Files\LibreOffice 4.0\program\bootstrap.ini's "UserInstallation=$SYSUSERCONFIG/LibreOffice/4" line to "UserInstallation=$ORIGIN/../Data/settings". It still crashed. Where is the install log to share? Note that I do not Java installed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
