Either of you can open a new bug report, add this to See Also, if you want you can even comment here and mention the new bug report. Following up on an old bug means having to read through dozens of comments, most of them not being relevant to the current situation. When you create a new one, you can have a clear description of the situation and what your problem is, and also take the existing feedback into account.
